Confirmed Service Customer
After purchasing the car in October, the check engine light went on at about 700 miles on the car. We brought it in to Gerry Lane the week of Thanksgiving. We were told that they needed to order a part but that itt wouldn’t be in until the next week due to the holiday. We were told they would call us the next week. Two weeks later we called to check on the part. We were told that they needed to order the part and it would be the next week. We called back the week before Christmas to see if we could get the car fixed. We were asked to bring it in the next day. So we did. We were called and told that they had not gotten to my car that day and offered a rental for the day. We called the next day and were not able to get anyone on the phone. We went to the dealership on December 23 to check on the status and were told that we wouldn’t get the car until after Christmas. So not only did it take over a month to get the brand new car fixed, it took five days to fix the car after we were told it would be fixed in one day.
