The WORSE. Dim drivers side headlight. $507.00, I refused to pay and suggested my next car would be purchased elsewhere. 1 hour later got a call to come back for another check on the light. 2nd trip was told it was an electrical problem. Appointment for Yesterday. Told it would take a long time so shuttle brought me home. Called after I got home to check on timeline (1 hour). Told it was ready and just the light . Again $507.00. I asked about warranty since light has a life span of 10 years. Not covered. WHY??? Got my car back and went to AutoZone. GMC mfg. bulb for $167.11. I am a 77 year old widow. No money to throw away. Whats the point in having extended warranty if it doesn't cover items that should be covered?? And WHY are your people so RUDE and UNCARING??? Do you REALLY want my business?

1) I made an appointment for my truck so that you could get it in and out. 2) What’s the use in having an appointment if it’s going to take over a week? 3) When my vehicle was finally ready, GL tried to charge me for services not rendered. 4) After driving it only 16.2 miles, the check engine light is back on, so it appears I’ve wasted almost $2K, which over $1,700 of it was for the check engine light issue.

Danny the service writer made me an appointment as needed. Got my truck back in 1 1/2 hours. Oil pressure looked a little low on way home. Checked under the hood the next day. 2 of the 4 screws in the engine air filter box were not installed properly and a bolt was missing on a brace over box. Then checked oil dipstick, oil not in correct range. Warmed up engine and checked again and only oil on very end of dipstick! Next day took back to service department to Danny. They took care of the problems in an hour. Unnecessary waste of everyone’s time and my fuel. I couldn’t give a good rating as I have in the past.

Service department wait is too long especially when you have an appointment. The wait use to be over hour previously, but now my husband and I have both experienced a two hour wait. Definitely too long for people who are away from their job or have another appointment later in the day.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. The tech called and said I needed new air filters(21,000 miles seems early to change air filters) he said it would be around $60 when I got there, the had charged me $160 with parts and labor.

Scheduled a 0700 appointment approximately 10 -15 days ago to replace fluid, filter and flush transmission. Truck was dropped off at 0700. At 0800 was notified that the service would be completed very late in the day. Truck was ready at 1700. Per the paperwork, only the fluid was replaced, not the filter or the flush performed. I own 3 GMC trucks and do not intend to bring them to Gerry Lane for service again.
